​HSMs are systems dedicated to secure cryptographic keys and cryptographic transactions physically and logically. The purpose of HSM is to protect sensitive data against theft with its highly secure transaction structure. HSMs are the solutions for creating cryptographic keys, storing and saving these keys, and performing cryptographic operations using these keys.

There are two main groups of HSMs: Payment HSMs and General Purpose HSMs. General purpose HSMs are used for digital signatures, CAs, TSMs, PKI and e-Invoicing projects.  Payment HSMs are used for securing and verifying PIN numbers and protecting card holder data, insurance and health information files. Perso HSMs are used for EMV data preparation and  EMV and NFC personalization.
Thales payShield 10K
Payshield 10K is the payment HSM solution of Thales. These HSMs are used in banking and insurance sector for protecting card data and EMV transaction processing with ATMs  and POS terminals. You can also use payShield 10K for NFC Host Card Emulation projects with appropriate software. It can be also used for EMV data preparation and personalization by installing a special firmware package.
​payShield HSM speeds can be upgraded in the field. They are FIPS 140 Level 3 and certified according to PCI HSM standards.

Entrust nShield Connect
nShield Connect HSMs are certified hardware security appliances that deliver cryptographic services to a variety of applications across the network. nShield HSM appliances are hardened, tamper-resistant platforms that perform such functions as encryption, digital signing, and key generation and protection. TUBITAK DIRAK HSMs
DIRAK HSMs are developed by TUBITAK-BILGEM (Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey - Informatics and Information Security Research Center).
As a general purpose HSM, DIRAK is also tamper resistant and able to perform cryptographic operations such as digital signing, key generation & operations. DIRAK is also compatible for IoT infrastructure via V2X-PKI support. It has ISO 19790 and CC EAL4+ certificates.
DIRAK HSM family is developing and growing day by day. Thanks to the active R&D department, it is also possible for DIRAK to provide custom solutions for customers' needs. 
Thales ProtectServer HSMs
Thales ProtectServer Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) provides you to protect cryptographic keys against compromise while providing encryption, signing and authentication services.
Application developers can create their own firmware and execute it within the secure confines of the highly flexible HSM. Known as functionality modules, the toolkits provide a comprehensive facility to develop and deploy custom firmware.
There are wider range of cost, performance and form-factors available.

Procenne ProCrypt HSMs
​Procenne is a Turkish manufacturer. ProCrypt HSMs are compatible with both general purposes and payment systems. These compatibilities are evidenced with certificates such as PCI-HSM and CC EAL4+. Procenne makes ProCrypt family able to operate with HSMs from different manufacturers by using a gateway solution called CryptAway.
